Gypsy Jazz Manouche in E minor

Gypsy jazz (jazz manouche) was pioneered by Django Reinhardt and uses a distinctive rhythm called "la pompe" (the pump). In E minor: Em6–Am6–B7–Em6. The major 6th chord voicings give gypsy jazz its characteristic bright, biting sound. The rhythm is a two-beat pattern with a percussive downstroke followed by a lighter upstroke.
